Charlotte

Hello, everyone! I'm Charlotte Macbean, the founder of Macbean’s Pet Care Services (the surname probably gave it away!) .

Growing up on smallholdings with farm animals and fostering dogs has instilled in me a deep love for animals, shaping my dream of working closely with them. In September 2023, I launched my pet care business with the goal of growing it alongside my part-time job. Currently, I'm proud to say this is now my full-time job and I absolutely love it. Working with different dogs everyday, exploring our beautiful local area is a privilege. I am fully insured, have a DBS check, and have completed Canine First Aid Training, ensuring your pets receive the utmost care.

Hi, I’m John, and I recently moved to Castle Cary with my wife, daughter, and hound after living in Northamptonshire.

I’m a peripatetic music teacher with many years of experience delivering guitar and music production lessons in schools. Growing up, I had a failed guide dog called Yorkie—a lovely Golden Retriever who, unfortunately, was too noise-sensitive to work. After meeting my wife, I expanded my horizons beyond being just a dog person. Together, we’ve had chickens, horses, rabbits, cats, hamsters, and mice. Now, I share my home with Buddy, an ex-racing greyhound, as well as stick insects and African land snails.

I’m keen to bring my calm nature and reliability to Macbean’s Pet Care Services and look forward to meeting your dogs soon.

(John is actually a current client of mine for when he is teaching! He is also insured, DBS checked and Canine First Aid trained.)
